SiriusXM and WWE are taking the action from the ring to the airwaves with the launch of WWE Radio, a new round-the-clock channel dedicated to live events, original shows and wrestling podcasts.
WWE Radio debuts Monday, July 27, on SiriusXM channel 156, becoming the official audio home of WWE. The channel will carry live play-by-play coverage of major Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series, alongside select audio simulcasts of WWE’s weekly television programming.
The partnership makes its live-event debut during SummerSlam weekend in Minnesota on Aug. 1 and 2. Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T will call the two-night event for SiriusXM listeners.
SiriusXM will also broadcast live shows from the Minneapolis Convention Center ahead of SummerSlam, with Dave LaGreca, Bully Ray, Mark Henry, Tommy Dreamer, Sam Roberts and Peter Rosenberg interviewing WWE talent, breaking down storylines and speaking with fans.
“WWE Radio” builds on SiriusXM’s existing wrestling lineup, led by “Busted Open,” which airs daily from 9 a.m. to noon ET. Other featured programs include “Notsam Wrestling Live,” “Cheap Heat Live,” “The Hart Beat with Natalya,” “Off the Ropes” and the nightly “Busted Open After Dark.”
The schedule will also feature WWE podcasts produced with Fanatics, including Cody Rhodes’ “What Do You Want to Talk About?,” The Undertaker’s “Six Feet Under,” Steph McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” and “WWE Now, Raw Recap.”
WWE Radio will be available nationwide in SiriusXM-equipped vehicles on channel 156 and through the SiriusXM app.
