Mac Sabbath Serves Up Fall Headlining Dates Before Joining GWAR

Mac Sabbath is taking its fast-food-fueled metal spectacle back on the road this fall, serving up a run of headlining dates before joining GWAR for 35 shows across the United States and Canada.

The band described by the Village Voice as “Hieronymus Bosch meets My Little Pony” will kick off its fall schedule with appearances at Muddy Roots Music Festival in Tennessee on September 6 and Louder Than Life in Louisville on September 17.

From there, the drive-thru metal outfit launches a string of October headlining shows with Clownvis Presley and Alyson Anomaly. The seven-date run begins October 21 at Come And Take It Live in Austin and includes stops in Houston, New Orleans, Birmingham and Greenville.

Mac Sabbath will spend Halloween weekend in the South, playing Mobile’s Soul Kitchen on October 30 and Club LA in Destin on October 31 with Descartes a Kant and Alyson Anomaly.

The menu gets considerably messier when Mac Sabbath joins GWAR’s “Gor Gor Must Die!” tour.

The massive trek launches October 27 at The Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville and continues through December 12 at The NorVa in Norfolk. Midnight will appear throughout the tour, with X-COPS joining select dates and Atomic Rule appearing on the western and Canadian leg.

Known for twisting Black Sabbath classics into a bizarre dystopian fast-food nightmare, Mac Sabbath delivers a live show packed with costumes, comedy, theatrical chaos and enough grease to make a deep fryer nervous.
