Chris Janson Sets Jefferson County Fair Attendance Record

Chris Janson delivered a record-breaking home-state performance at Missouri’s Jefferson County Fair, drawing approximately 9,000 fans to the Buchheit Main Stage on July 24.

The crowd was the largest for a concert in the fair’s 30-year history, according to organizers, who praised the country star’s high-energy set as one of the event’s biggest highlights to date.

“Record breaking year for our fair!” Matt Woods of the Jefferson County Missouri Fair said in a press release. “We loved having Chris Janson! The most entertaining show we have had in 30 years!”

Janson described the performance as a “wild and awesome weekend on tour.”

“I’m having a big summer, and doing a record-breaking performance means the world to me,” Janson noted in a statement.

The multi-Platinum artist is currently touring behind his fifth studio album, Wild Horses, with a setlist featuring chart hits, fan favorites and newer material. Following strong demand for the “Wild Horses Untamed Tour,” Janson said additional dates will soon be added across the country.

“We’re all having such a great time on this tour,” he said. “We can’t wait to see even more energetic and happy crowds.”

Janson is also promoting his latest single, “Fight For A Girl,” which is now impacting country radio. A stripped-down acoustic version of the track has also been released.

Additional tour dates and ticket information will be announced through Janson’s official website.
