The Fonda Theatre will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a series of intimate concerts featuring Suicidal Tendencies, Father John Misty, Remi Wolf, Peaches, Cuco, Flying Lotus and Animal Collective.
The anniversary series begins October 1 with Suicidal Tendencies and continues throughout the month at the historic Hollywood venue. Additional performers will be announced for shows scheduled October 12 and October 22.
“We are very excited to ring in the 100th anniversary of the Fonda with a lineup that represents both the past 100 years and the next,” Fonda Theatre talent buyer Becky Rosen-Checa said. “We are grateful for the artists who have helped make the Fonda into the iconic venue it is today and look forward to seeing which stars will rise on our stage next.”
Several performances will recognize notable albums from the participating artists’ catalogs. Animal Collective will celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Feels,” while Cuco will mark the 10th anniversary of his debut self-released project, “Wannabewithu.”
The lineup also includes a solo performance by Father John Misty and “An Evening of Mud” with Remi Wolf.
The celebration began earlier in 2026 when Paul McCartney performed two intimate shows at the Fonda. The venue’s official 100th birthday will take place in October, with more anniversary announcements expected.
The theater opened in 1926 as Carter De Haven’s Music Box and initially presented stage productions and revues. It later operated as the Pix Theatre, screening movies including “Jaws” and “Rocky,” before returning to live entertainment.
Tickets for the newly announced concerts will be available beginning Thursday, September 10, at 10 a.m. PT. Fans can register for access codes and find additional information through the Fonda Theatre’s anniversary website.
