Barry Manilow Cancels Kentucky Show Last-Minute Amid 'Unforeseen Circumstances'

Barry Manilow was set to take the stage at Lexington, Kentucky’s Rupp Arena Tuesday night, however, the gig was called-off just 45 minutes before the scheduled start time.

The 83-year-old singer took to social media to share the news, simply writing: “Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight’s show in Lexington has been rescheduled.” The show was originally rescheduled from March 9, which needed to be postponed while Manilow underwent treatment for stage 1 lung cancer.

Rupp Arena also commented on the cancellation, noting that “all previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new date once it is announced.”

Manilow is slated to perform next at Cincinnati’s Heritage Bank Center on August 5. From there, he’ll head to Baltimore, Norfolk, Greensboro, Duluth, and Jacksonville later this month. He’s also scheduled to perform a round of rescheduled shows across Florida in Sunrise, Estero, Tampa, and Orlando in January 2027, as well as a show at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center with a date TBD.

In addition to his farewell shows across the U.S., Manilow will continue his residency at Westgate Las Vegas throughout the end of 2026.
