Lollapalooza India will return to Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 23 and 24, 2027, marking the festival’s fifth edition in the country.
Organizers have not yet revealed the artists who will headline the 2027 edition. The festival is expected to feature four stages and more than 20 hours of live performances across the weekend.
The upcoming festival will also bring back RuPay Amplified Access, a program that offers participating attendees additional benefits, including complimentary drinks and merchandise vouchers.
“Five years in, Lollapalooza India has become more than a music festival. It has become a cultural anchor, redefining how a generation experiences live music and forging a living, breathing community that returns year after year, drawn by the promise of discovery and the certainty of the unforgettable,” festival organizers said in a statement.
The organizers added that the anniversary edition will continue Lollapalooza India’s efforts to influence the country’s live entertainment landscape while expanding its international profile.
“As it celebrates its landmark 5th edition, Lollapalooza India continues to shape the future of live entertainment in the country while strengthening its place on the global festival map,” the statement said.
Since launching in India, Lollapalooza has brought a range of major international acts to Mumbai. Previous editions have featured performances from Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, Sting, OneRepublic, Jonas Brothers, Green Day, Shawn Mendes, Louis Tomlinson, Playboi Carti, Linkin Park and Yungblud.
A pre-sale for the two-day festival is scheduled to begin Sunday, August 30, with ticket sales being handled by Indian ticketing company BookMyShow. An early bird on-sale is set for September 2.
