Gnarls Barkley Announce First Tour in 18 Years

Gnarls Barkley are heading back on the road for the first time in 18 years, with CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse announcing a nine-date North American tour for November.

The “To Whom It Still Concerns Tour,” promoted by Live Nation, begins Nov. 5 at The Masonic in San Francisco and runs through Nov. 28 at Chicago’s House of Blues. Stops along the way include Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Silver Spring (Maryland, outside Washington D.C.), Toronto and New York.

The run marks the duo’s first tour since 2008 and follows their return earlier this year with Atlanta, their first album since The Odd Couple and what Gnarls Barkley have described as their third and final studio album. Atlanta was released in March after the duo broke an 18-year recording hiatus with lead single “Pictures.”

“The Gnarls Barkley ‘To Whom It Still Concerns’ Tour operates like an open book, exploring the universal matters of life, death and everything in between,” Green said in announcing the shows.

Tickets begin rolling out with Citi Cardmember and Reserved by Spotify presales on Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Ticketmaster listings also show Live Nation and select venue presales beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22, followed by the Gnarls Barkley artist presale Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans who want access to the artist presale must register by Sunday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. ET.

Primary Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. local venue time. VIP packages are also being offered for at least some dates.

Gnarls Barkley emerged in 2006 with St. Elsewhere, powered by the global hit “Crazy.” The pairing of Green and producer Danger Mouse followed that record with The Odd Couple in 2008 before largely going dormant as both musicians pursued other projects.

TicketNews was tracking demand for Gnarls Barkley during that original breakout nearly two decades ago, including a sold-out 2006 Central Park show in New York where $35 primary tickets had disappeared and remaining secondary-market listings were running substantially higher.

The newly announced run will bring the reunited duo back to several Live Nation-operated theaters and clubs, with the complete routing below.
