Garth Brooks Announces ‘Blame It All On My Roots’ Arena Tour

Garth Brooks has announced the “Blame It All On My Roots” tour, a run of performances designed to bring his legendary arena shows back to fans in a more intimate setting.

For the upcoming shows, Brooks will bring back his Drum Pod stage, an in-the-round setup that was a major part of his arena performances during the 1990s. The stage design placed Brooks in the center of the venue, allowing fans on all sides of the arena to have a close view of the concert.

The Drum Pod stage was featured on Double Live, which remains the best-selling live album in music history. Brooks will also record performances from the new tour for an upcoming live release titled “Killer Live.”

“Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box,” Brooks said in a statement. “Every seat is a great seat. This is personal.”

The tour will begin with two shows at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 21 and August 22. Additional tour stops and dates will be announced in the coming months.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster. There will be no presales or advance box office sales, with all tickets becoming available at the same time. Fans will be able to purchase up to eight tickets per order.
