Rolling Loud Returning to California in 2027 With Three-Day Festival

Rolling Loud will return to California in 2027, bringing the hip-hop festival back to San Bernardino for a three-day event at the NOS Events Center from December 10 to 12.

The California festival will return after a two-year absence and mark a significant expansion of Rolling Loud’s U.S. schedule after organizers consolidated the festival’s domestic operations around a single Orlando event in 2026. The 2027 edition will also restore Rolling Loud California to a three-day format after the most recent California festival was shortened to two days in 2025. 

The move takes Rolling Loud back to the NOS Events Center, where the festival staged Southern California editions in 2017 and 2021. Rolling Loud has more recently held its California festivals at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, adjacent to SoFi Stadium. 

Rolling Loud co-founder and CEO Matt Zingler told Billboard that San Bernardino gives organizers some advantages over staging the festival in a major city, including lower costs for fans, less congestion and more flexibility to experiment with the festival grounds and activations. 

“California has always been a huge part of Rolling Loud’s story, and it feels good to be back,” Zingler said in the festival announcement. He added that organizers are looking forward to bringing three days of the festival back to the NOS Events Center. 

Rolling Loud moved its flagship Florida festival from Miami to Orlando this year and designated the May event at Camping World Stadium as its only U.S. festival of 2026. Co-founder Tariq Cherif described that lineup at the time as an intentional concentration of the festival’s domestic efforts, while Zingler called Orlando a “new chapter” for Rolling Loud.  That consolidation will not continue into 2027.

Notably, Rolling Loud has already announced a return to Camping World Stadium in Orlando from May 7 to 9, 2027, meaning the newly announced California event will give the company at least two three-day U.S. festivals next year. 

Rolling Loud’s California history stretches back to 2017, when the brand held events in both Northern and Southern California. The Southern California installment debuted at the NOS Events Center that December before later editions moved to Los Angeles and ultimately Hollywood Park. The festival returned to NOS for a three-day event in December 2021, with J. Cole, Kid Cudi and Future among the headliners. 

The most recent California festival took place March 15 to 16, 2025 at Hollywood Park. A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti headlined, with Peso Pluma appearing as a special guest. Rolling Loud reduced the event from three days to two that year, with organizers saying the change allowed them to lower the price of admission while retaining the festival’s broader experience. 

Rolling Loud has not yet announced performers for the California event. Additional lineup and festival details are expected to be released ahead of the December 2027 dates.

A ticket presale for Rolling Loud California 2027 is scheduled to begin Thursday, September 24 at 11:00 a.m. PT, followed by a broader presale beginning at noon.
