George Strait to Headline Three-Day Boots In The Park New Mexico in 2027

George Strait will headline the 2027 edition of Boots In The Park New Mexico, leading a three-day country music lineup at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque from May 14 to 16.

The event will mark the fourth year of Boots In The Park in New Mexico and will feature Strait alongside Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Zach Top and Jon Pardi. Activated Events, the festival’s organizer, said additional performers will be announced at a later date.

The 2027 festival follows several years of strong attendance for the event. More than 60,000 fans attended Boots In The Park New Mexico across its recent editions, including events headlined by Luke Combs in 2025 and Post Malone and Jelly Roll in 2026.

“Albuquerque has shown us time and time again that New Mexico knows how to throw a country party,” Activated Events CEO Thacher said in the announcement. “For 2027, we wanted to create something truly legendary.”

The festival is expanding to three days for the first time in 2027. Thacher said bringing Strait, Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Top and Pardi together for the expanded event represents a significant moment for the festival and its country music audience.

For Strait, the Albuquerque appearance will mark his return to the city for the first time since 2013.

“New Mexico, it’s been way too long,” Strait said in the announcement. “While I’m not sure where else this next year will take us, I do know we can’t wait to see everyone at Boots In The Park next May.”

Tickets will first be available through a presale beginning Thursday, September 10, at 10 a.m. Mountain time. General ticket sales will begin Friday, September 11.
