Burna Boy will headline the halftime show at the NFL’s first regular-season game in France, returning to Stade de France for the historic event on October 25.
The Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artist will perform during the matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time, or 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything,” Burna Boy said. “The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and I get to stand in the middle of it representing African music and I intend to give the people a show they will not forget.”
The appearance will bring Burna Boy back to a venue where he previously reached a career milestone. In April 2025, he became the first African artist to headline Stade de France, one of Europe’s largest stadiums.

“The first NFL game in France deserves a halftime moment that matches the occasion, and there is no artist better suited to it than Burna Boy,” said Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment.
Tubito pointed to the artist’s history at Stade de France and African music’s popularity in Paris as reasons behind the selection.
“Burna Boy has already made history in this stadium, and bringing him back to perform in front of a global audience gives us the chance to create something genuinely memorable,” Tubito said.
